The Alcatraz Music Club&Restaurant was opened in December 1999 as a new dash of colour in the night life of the City. Its spectacular interior design solutions represent a special environment. The Restaurant recalls the facilities of the disreputable American prison island: the shower-bath, the row of cells, the Governor's office or the luxurious cell of Al Capone were built on the basis of original pictures and descriptions.

The Club is suitable for the organization of different programmes the success of which is guaranteed by the most advanced professional technical background. A lot of receptions, press conferences or company meetings of great success were organized in the Alcatraz Club for its 10 year history.

From Thursday till Sunday at evenings the best club orchestras of Hungary appear on the stage from the representatives of funky, jazz. XXX. Besides the groups known in Hungary world famous stars perform in Alcatraz. There are a couple of names recently appeared on the program: Caramel, Back2Black, Elias Jr., Zsola, Groovehouse, Majka etc.

Our Restaurant for 200 persons is divided into two parts. The back part, where the row of cells and separate rooms are to be found, is a calm and intimate supper area. Guests taking a seat here can follow the programmes on the stage via closed-loop telecasting and they can control the volume optionally.

We suggest the first part for guests longing for more eventful entertainment where, after the programmes of the bands appearing on the stage, famous DJs provide for the good atmosphere.

For groups of 10-18 persons separate rooms can be reserved.

A guarded parking place is put at the disposal of our guests free of charge in the parking area Alcatraz at the corner of Dohany Street and Klauzal Street.
